Clyde & Co joins forces with Thinking Virtual to expand its use of Electronic Transaction Bibles

Released: 20/1/2003

Clyde & Co, a top 25 UK law firm with 8 overseas offices, is to expand its use of Electronic Transaction Bibles (ETBs) in a new agreement with electronic document management specialists Thinking Virtual.

The move follows the successful pilot of ETBs by the Business Law Group of Clyde & Co based in Guildford.

ETBs are becoming increasingly widespread within the legal sector. They offer companies an effective electronic management system which is readily accessible and searchable on a standard CD format. They can also be tailored for a company’s individual requirements and adapted for use on intranets, extranets, or even websites.

Tim Matthews, partner Clyde & Co comments, “ETBs are the way forward for our deal documentation. Instead of files and files of hard copy, we have worked with Thinking Virtual to develop a system which is accessible, client friendly and supports our business.”

Nigel Shore, chairman Thinking Virtual adds, “In today’s highly competitive marketplace, ETBs should be a fundamental component of a legal firm’s information management strategy. Carefully tailored to each company’s individual requirements, they save time, space and money enhancing client services and freeing up valuable resources. ”

In addition to electronic documentation management, Thinking Virtual offers a range of management services and products focusing on improving companies website performances. These include e-commerce business analysis, website audits, search engine optimisation, web design and internet project management
